Many times the host companies we use for our websites provide mailing list options, but they are either hard to use or poorly built and not much help for what we desire to do in sending out updates and vital information to our lists. With that in mind, I currently use a company called Your Mailing List Provider. I have found it to be very user friendly and affordable as well. They have a free version of their list, but it limits how you can maintain your list, etc.
